To share The Atlantic with a fellow reader, visit TheAtlantic.com/gift. You can choose from three subscription types: Digital, Print & Digital, and Premium. Once you’ve selected a gift, you will be prompted to create a free account or, if you already have one, to sign in. With your online account, you’ll be able to track your gift order and easily manage your gift subscriptions online.
Note: Registering online is free of charge. You do not need to purchase an Atlantic subscription to create an account. If you’re interested in purchasing a subscription for yourself, visit our product page.
Giving a Digital Subscription
You will need the following information about your gift recipient:
- Full name
- Email address
On the date you indicate, The Atlantic will send an email to your gift recipient with instructions on how to redeem their gift. This will instantly grant unlimited access to TheAtlantic.com.
Giving a Print & Digital or Premium Subscription
You will need the following information about your gift recipient:
- Full name
- Mailing address where they will receive their print issues
- Email address
On the date you indicate, The Atlantic will send an email to your gift recipient with instructions on how to redeem their gift. This will instantly grant them unlimited access to TheAtlantic.com.
Please allow up to four to six weeks for your gift recipient to receive their first print issue.
Note: If your gift recipient would like to change the email address associated with their subscription, they can do so by contacting our Customer Care team.
Managing Your Gift Subscriptions
If you’ve given a subscription to The Atlantic and would like to check if your gift was redeemed, please go to your online account and follow these instructions:
- Sign into your account
- Click on “Subscriptions” > “Gift Subscriptions”
- All of your gifts should be listed, along with the subscription types, redemption statuses, and expiry dates.
