You may cancel your subscription at any time by visiting your Account page. To cancel a gift subscription, please get in touch with Customer Care. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. Please read our full terms here.
If you would like to cancel your subscription, please follow these instructions:
- Create an online account or sign in to your existing account. If you’re a subscriber and do not see your subscription listed, please read this quick overview about how to connect your subscription to your account.
- Once you’re signed in, go to your account homepage and select “Subscription” then “Manage Subscription” in the menu located on the left side of the screen.
- Once in the “Manage Subscription” section of your account, select “Cancel.”
If you paid for your subscription using PayPal, you can cancel your subscription by contacting Customer Care at support@theatlantic.com. Customers on PayPal are able to request a refund up to 180 days after paying for a product via PayPal.
If you purchased your subscription via a third party (e.g. the Google Play Store or Apple App Store), you must cancel through that third party. We do not have the ability to cancel a third-party subscription on a customer’s behalf.
