If you’re a subscriber, you enjoy unlimited access to The Atlantic’s site and app, narrated articles and podcasts, a digital archive dating back to 1857, gift articles to share with other readers, and more.
To access all these benefits just for subscribers, you must first connect your subscription to your online account. Doing so is simple and will only take a moment. Just follow these steps:
1. Go to TheAtlantic.com/register to create an online account or sign in. Can’t remember your email or password? Click “Forgot your email or password". If you are still having trouble logging in please reference the information linked here.
Note: If you placed your order online, the subscription is automatically linked to the email address you used to place the order.
2. Once you’re signed in, you should be automatically directed to your account page. Find the “Already a Subscriber?” section of your account and select your method of purchase (The Atlantic or Apple), then follow the instructions that appear.
3. If you purchased (or were given) a subscription via The Atlantic, enter your account number and postal code.
Note: Your 8-digit account number is printed on the mailing label of your print magazine. It begins with the first non-zero digit after #ATL and ends before the forward slash (/). If you are having any issues, please contact our Customer Care team so that we can look up your account number for you.
4. Locate the “Subscription” section of your account and ensure your billing information and mailing address are up-to-date.
If you were invited to a Premium Plus plan, you should have received an email with your access link. Follow that link to create your account and activate your subscription using the dynamic code provided. Learn more about activating your Premium Plus access here.
