Did you use Sign in with Apple or Hide My Email?
If you can’t find your Atlantic subscription using your usual email address, you may have used Sign in with Apple or Hide My Email when you created your account.
Apple’s privacy features can create a private email address that is different from your personal email address. Your Atlantic account may be associated with this Apple-generated address instead.
If you used Sign in with Apple
Return to The Atlantic’s sign-in page and select Apple. You should use this option instead of entering your personal email address.
If you used Hide My Email
-
You can check whether an Apple-generated email address is associated with The Atlantic on your iPhone or iPad:
- Settings > [Your Name] > Sign in & Security > Sign in with Apple
- Look for The Atlantic. If you chose to hide your email address, you should see the private email address associated with your account. These addresses often end in @privaterelay.appleid.com.
-
If you use iCloud+ Hide My Email, you can also check:
- Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Hide My Email
- Look for an address associated with The Atlantic.
Still can’t access your subscription?
If your account uses an Apple-generated email address, some account emails may not reach you. If you’re unable to sign in, please contact Customer Care for help locating your account and restoring access.
To avoid creating a duplicate account or subscription, we recommend contacting us before signing up again with a different email address.
