Reset your Atlantic password

Change your password through “Your Account,” or use the sign-in page’s reset options to receive a secure, one-time link expiring in three hours. Set a password of at least eight characters. Check spam and Apple sign-in settings if the email is missing; contact Customer Care for further help.

How do I change my password if I know my current password?

  1. Sign in to your Atlantic account.

  2. Find the Your Account section in the center of the page.

  3. Select Change Password.

How do I reset my password if I forgot it?

  1. Open the Atlantic sign-in page.

  2. Under Forgot your email or password?, select password.

  3. On the next page, select Reset Now > instead of entering your email address.

  4. Enter the email address associated with your subscription, then select Next.

  5. Open the email with the subject Reset your Atlantic password.

  6. Select the secure link in the email. The link signs you in automatically and opens a new browser window where you can reset your password. The secure link expires after 3 hours and can be used only once.

  7. Enter a new password that is at least 8 characters long.

  8. Select Set my new password.

    You’re done!  Remember to use your new password whenever you next sign in.

What should I do if I didn’t receive the password-reset email?

  1. Check your spam or junk folder.

  2. Confirm that you entered the email address associated with your Atlantic account.

  3. Consider whether you created your account with Sign in with Apple or Hide My Email.

I used Sign in with Apple

Return to the Atlantic sign-in page and select Apple instead of requesting another password reset.

I used Hide My Email

Your Atlantic account may be associated with an Apple-generated email address instead of your usual email. In some cases, account emails sent to an Apple-generated address may not reach you.

To check the email address associated with Sign in with Apple on an iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Select [Your Name] > Sign in & Security > Sign in with Apple.

  3. Look for The Atlantic and the email address associated with it.
